Officials will meet for a Press Conference to discuss Ventower Industries at 11:00am on Wednesday, July 7

Monroe, MI – Congressman John D. Dingell (D-MI15) and local leaders will meet tomorrow to highlight the progress that Ventower Industries has made with the clean energy stimulus funding as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). Ventower Industries was just awarded a $2.3 million grant and $1.2 million loan from the Clean Energy Advanced Manufacturing Program. These awards are focused on putting Americans back to work by building a robust domestic manufacturing capacity to supply clean and renewable energy projects with American made parts and equipment. This award to Ventower helps to ensure that the city of Monroe leads the state in transforming to the economy of the future and remains a community on the cutting edge of green manufacturing.

Since receiving the federal funding, Ventower’s facility construction is progressing as scheduled.
